Help Please im new

hi im sorry if im not following the rules about posting but i kinda need a fast response, so my friend says u cant add pictures in WAR3 i told him You can do it with fadefilters im sure i just dont know the format. So im wondering if anyone knows how to add pictures useing FADE-FILTERS
1) what format?
2) what size?
3) what program do i use and where do i find it?

I have photoshop 6.0 i dont know if that can do it but plz plz plz help me

P.S. i didnt know what catagorie this would go under so i just picked the one with the most people at the time.

Wrong forum. This should go in general development.

1) blp
2) 512x512px, I believe
3) Make it with photoshop, save it as a 32bit TGA, and convert it to BLP with WC3 viewer

Well i just tried it ill ly down my steps to see if u can find a error

1) opend photoshop made new (512X512)
2) put wat i wanted on it then.... saved as TGA 32 pixel thingy
3) then opened war3 viewer then went to the jpg..tga.. to BML converter
4) saved it...then i went to import manager and imported the BML then put it on the fade filter
5) when i loaded map it didnt fade in and out of anything it just sat there
