I did some geoset merges for a project of mine: Trail of Tears. I just learnt this really good method, but the mod didn't really work out. So, I'll be releasing the models in this thread.

Feel free to use them anywhere, but remember to give me credits (and reputation :P).

Very nice models, I am impressed.

Could you tell us more about your new method? Perhaps the very basics of it if it is complicated, or a link to a place where you can learn it?

The thing is I'm a high-poly modeler and I would like to start modeling low-poly models for warcraft 3, so I could use a good starting technique.

Thanks.

Good work, uh chasire, geomerging isn't modeling, look at the mdl tool pack.

Yes. As GoonGoon13 said: Search for the "Oinkerwinkles .mdl Tool Pack". Or visit his website. It has all the tutorials and programs you need to start geomerging.

hello..i'm starting to learn how to geomerge with oinker's amazing tools, but i cannot get the textures to show up properly...my heads, for instance, are still using part of the body's blp to reference the artwork for their texture (since the blp for the model i took the head from has its face art on the area of the blp that the body i merged it to uses for its body...or vice versa. hope that makes sense. so alot of times i will end up with a head that has part of the body wrapping around it. i can't figure out how to get the head to use its own texture...please help!

ALBINO! you astound me! that is some high quality stuff...

one bad thing: that little blue outline is still visible around each character. fix it by adjusting the background color in wc3v...
