hmm maybe I'll try sticking the old head on the newer body and add more rocks, and see how that turns out.

I like this skin ALOT! Love the face on the second one, the chest on the first looks better than the seocond one. Maybe keep the face rocks but make the chest the rocks with some leaves covering it and some vines. Legs, wings and arms look great!

I agree, and also as for the more rocks, add them to the feet to add balance to the skin. And maybe on the fingers too. But I'm not sure about that. And maaaaybe on the tops and the bottom points of the wings. (the ends of the wing fingers... if that makes sense...)

I love the 2nd one, very cool look. You have any plans for the skin?

I updated some stuff, kind of mixed the body and head and made more detail.

That's much better. The textures really work well . Only thing I don't love is the way the head joins onto the neck. Textures look slightly unnatural which I assume is no good in a "nature" unit. maybe bring the head texture down onto the body a litte ??? Nice work though

you know I was thinking that too about putting some of the wood like features further down on the chest to make it look more connective. Thnx =) I might see if I can make him look good. Hopefully good won't get mixed up with gay somewhere in there though.

Not unless your going to change him to leather and silk ;) . If you really get desperate try a moss sort of thing for a beard. I don't know about making him look "friendly". The N.E ancients and male heroes look as angry as any demon model. Well done once again

ok yet another update, I tried to make it look "good" but he doesn't look peticularly evil. Just more like a pissed off tree man. changed his chest a bit, I think it matches it a little better. I upped the contrast a little to make it more standoutish, but I think his colors might be too bright now. Any comments on the newest version are appreciated.
