I've unlocked the level limit from 10, but i have 2 questions:
1) Why when I am level 10, the hero still levels up but doesn't receives any more skill points? any suggestions in order to unlock this?
2) What can I do to assign more than 5 abilities to a hero?

well, I've been battling with those same issues for months. You really need to start debugging if you want to get anywhere at this.
You need to edit the .dll-files.

Try hero level = 10 (boolean)
upgeade hero -skill ___ level _ or give hero- skill point _
