thanx anyway
damn my map consists of 4 quarters which must be identical.. but I'm really tired of placing trees , rocks, grouping it all in the same way...
there must be a way.
Maybe W3ZMap editor has such a function?

Um, there is a way in the regular editor. Make sure your on the terrain pallete, and select the area you want mirrored. then choose copy, and paste it in a different quarter. Then select that area and go to the top, and there is a mirror function in one of the options up there (forgot which one.) If you choose the right one, you will get what you want. And this can be undone if you dont like the results. And if you wanna redo the terrain, just redo it after your done with the mirroring. Hope that helps.

If this is available for terrain, then I think it is for doodads too. Try with doodads, as they too can be selected and group-copied.

the problem is that very few ppl do map terrain from scratch.....or just don't care of doodads so far... those who tried to make huge terrains will probably understand me...oh well..

Yes, I know, tryed that already. But when I press "mirror" or smth similar , each doodad just turns around its axys..but the whole "Doodad Group Shape" doesn't appear right, like i showed in the pic... and what is far more dissapinting , some doods aren't affected at all! :((((

Really? Hmm... i did it so many times...
I used WE 1.00 version- maybe that is the reason of that mess?

When i was helping my friend do his rp map and doing some terraining and moving of areas, the doodads were going with the terrain. That was on 1.03, so maybe 1.00 is the problem. And if you have to, i think you can mirror the doodads too. You cant be lazy when making a map, even if it is somewhat simple (not saying yours is simple, just saying.) But if anything, get the upgrade, since its better than 1.00 right now.:D

Then it appears 2b another undocumented feature...
Thanks alot for wasting time on me :)

I spent almost 3 days to recreate the doodads for 2nd quarter of the map(which was similar to the 1st , but mirrored)..................and there are two more quarters :)..I way about to give up oh well

you can use some functions to reproduce the doodads. I'm little busy now, but later on i'll post a trigger to "mirror" doodads on a given area. it's not hard...

Doodads isn't part of terrain!!! I tryed this and I know..
Why nobody cares? Why isn't there an editor enhancer, any tool whatever else that will allow that!!! :(:nono: ://// 30 IM SO ANGRYYY AGRRRRRRHHH
