Concerning Blink and Targets allowed

Hi.

I need to make Blink only targetable on units, not unlike Stormbolt or Entangle.

I've changed the "Targets allowed" field to "Air, Ground, Debris, Enemy, Neutral, Organic" but that doesn't seem to change anything. I can still target Blink on the ground.

Is this something hardcoded into the spell that can't be changed?

I don't think that has any sense, blink targets in a point, and does nothing else besides teleportation, so that ability ignores the targets allowed

Dont use blink, use one of the teleport abilities instead. Mass teleport is probably what you'll want to use since that already targets units.

As usual, sometimes the best solutions is the most obvious one. Rep for you.

One problem: Mass TP seems to be hardcoded to target friendly units.

Yes, that seems to be a problem with many many speels. I really don't understand why blizzard went through all the trouble of making an object editor when some things that should be modifiable from there can't be modified. Well, I really shouldn't complain, after all, Warcraft III is probably the most modable RTS game around, but still, it makes you wonder, why then are there such limitations at places you really wouldn't expect. Mass teleport stuns target unit and teleports the hero along with his troops to it. There's no reason for it not to be able to do this with enemy units as well except for sloppy programming.

Try triggering your spell. Base the hero spell on some insta-unit-target-buffer or something similar, and do the caster-blink with the "move unit" trigger.
