Made this little demon knight sketch just a few moments ago and figured I could post it :) Planning on coloring it later on.

So here it is a chubby demon knight.

And here's also a totally random sketch of a suicidial pirate equipped with explosives and a not very pirate like hat. Also includes a floating(thanks to the jetpack) skull and a parrot :P

C&C is welcome :)

*edit* Oh and done with a wacom and painter 7.

Well, SOMEONE should comment on this! (looks around) *sigh*

Going off human proportions (if you don't mind), his head and arms are too small. If he's going to get large, pouchy cheeks, I'd add a line at each end of the mouth - don't know the proper term, they're those curved line you get when you smile big. Line connet the ends of the mouth to the nose ("fold-lines" or whatever) may also help.
His eyes and brow currently say that this guy will come up and shake your hand, not make you shorter by a head. I'll let you fix that as you see fit.
And the chain for his flail looks more like a necklace chain, try using one of those industrial chains as a better example.

Thanks for the comments :]

I don't mind :) I agree that the hands are a bit small, but I'm pretty happy with the head size, but I doubt I will be doing any dramatic changes to proportions.

I think he looks a bit more insane now, yet still happy. I want him to be happy :)

I also added the smile lines or whatever they're called, think they need some tweaking though.

Here's some progress again.

I hope you people don't mind me reviving this :) I just didn't want to do a new thread for this.

It's now kind of finished. I got tired of the pic back then due to not liking it, but now I decided to crop it a bit and color the rest of it (I got encouraged due to icbm repping me on it, thanks :) ). I guess you could call it a portrait or something now :P

I would change the BG color but it would be too much of a hassle since it seems I've accidently deleted the file which had the BG and the knight in different layers :)

The coloring of the plate (only thing new compared to last) took about 1 hour.

C&C is welcome as always. :]

:P

i like the expression on his face

but the armor on him looks more like stone instead of metal.

metal doesn't blend easily

Thanks :]

I was actually going for some sort of a dark metal look in the armor, but yes it does look a bit like stone :] *goes to look for reference*

Or some tips on painting metal would be nice too if someone has them :]
