gamx/ wings 3D for editing models...

I'm trying to edit models/ make models using gmax/ wings 3d but i cannot convert the files to get them into ethier of the progams. If anyone uses these programs (because I read in forum that you could use these) to edit models help me...

It doesnt seem as if there is anyway you could.. I too use Wings 3D and it wont export into the required file

There are some exporters for gmax/wings 3d...but, unfortunately, they arent finished, due to skin and anim-related problems

Never heard about those... Any word on if/when they will be completed?

Well Kantor your link gave me all the resources i needed to make it possible to make models for warcraft 3 using gmax which i intended on using instead of wings 3d. gmax seems to have much more options but maybe im wrong.
