i have both made and downloaded custom units that are all .blp files and i dont have a clue how to put them on my map! Its driving me crazy!!!!!!! please if you have any idea on how to place .blp filed units on your map please answer my question. thank you.. ^_^ |

.blp files are not units, they are nothing but skins. Just use the import manager, and import them, then double click and set a custom filepath, and set it to whatever the path of the skin should be. Then whatever unit that skin is for, will use the new skin in the map. |

it comes with the WE go to modules->import manager and it should be there, if itsnot then you have RoC, and youll need TFT to access the import manager, if you dont have, i would look into WinMPQ |

you need the TFT version! there in the World editor you can open the "import manager" if you have a model with more .blp textures there is 1 way to figure out what the path for the textures should be! you can download the " warcraft file converter" which allows you to convert .mdx files into .mdl files. you can open .mdl files wit notepad or other text programms, so there you can scrol down a little bit and thn you can see what textures the model uses and what are the right pathes! mostly there is no Path! |
