Haradrim Slayer

Alrighty, i got bored, and i saw this concept art so i decided to make the Slayer based on it. So far i only got the head done, but this was about 4 hours of work (2 and a half skinning, 1 and a half geomerging)

but i dont think the tussks shud be gold.

And here he is, riproaring and ready to go. CnC welcome. All 3 skins are 256 x 256. He uses merges from all over the place. (if u can guess where the "fans" on his helm come from i'll give u a cookie.)

well first off, gimme a cookie, cuz im pretty sure its the warden (hero)'s head dress turned on its side and painted gold =D also, im not sure what its supposed to look like (i didnt see a ref pic maybe its just me) but its lookin good =D maybe a bit too much yellow? i think the horns on bottom of mask should be ivory, or silver at least...

Ref pic is on bottom right. Helmet ref pic was somewhere else and in black and white, so i kept up the red n gold color scheme.

Oh, ure wrong, nothing here is from the warden ^_^

No cookies ? oh well. Really good work Pheonix. I think you've achieved good similaity to both of your concepts , especially the helmet. Looks great. I'm with tiki on the tusks. I also see you went with the Demon hunter after all.

Yeah, Draenei dosnt look human with the legs and huge fingers.

I did try the tusks as ivory, but having that small splash of white looked quite stupid.

hmmmm ok then.. if it wasnt warden...
if you mean in the unwrap of skin, it looks like the wings get their skinning from his left shoulderpad. if you mean from what model you merged the shape of the fins from... hmmm... they look almost naga-gill'ish (the things on side of siren's head) or like some beak... owlbear beak maybe?

Nope, the model dosnt come from the naga. Try again :D

I just think that the chainmail should be gray instead of gold, it'd give the skin a more colorful look.

i was going for accuracy to concept art, not niceness ^_^
