Im currently working on a RPG Engine that is to be used as a base when you make RPG games(speed up the developing process). It is kind of based on the D&D world. This is how the engine will work in play. When a player presses esc, or enters a region or whatever the map maker wants a dialog menu will pop up where you choose from (at this point) four races ( the character selection prosess is working very well)
They are (will differ from race too race)
2) Combining diffrent weapons to get better ones. Focus on strength and agility 3) Has the ability to see at night and be invisible at night. And is very fast. Focus Agility. 4) Alot like thief but can spy and poison people 5) Warrior conan type of guy 6) Different types of wizard depending on race Elemental or nature among other types. 7) A combination of thief and assasin and will be able to set traps. They different character may vary between the races. Dwarf wont have thiefs but good blacksmith Elves wont have assasins because its againt there honour code. Humans have all types. There is a working stat point system and im currently working on lvl system and potion/weapon mixing. There will also be a random camp placer kind of. U place a certain placer and a camp with creeps will be generated there. Is very buggy at the moment. Working on an easy to use quest system also. Im also looking into the possibility of having special effects and cameras options. That is easily generated. The diffrent units will have a new skin if I have the time or the there is a demand for it. Everything I've mentioned will be hopefully easily adjusted by the mapmaker. There is also the chance of a wizard program that generates a jass(trigger) file. So plz give me some input I NEED more ideas.:D :D :D |
