Need opinions on this pond

Ok currecntly I'm working on an ashenville pond-like terrain. The attached pic is pretty much all I have done but I would like some opinions on how it looks (good, bad, god-awful, etc.), and what it is lacking/could use.

the part closest to the camera is too blank, put rocks and flowers and stuff, and some stuff in the water, like lily pads, or cattails
