Im creating a new multiplayer map called "The Timberland Conflict"(TTC) It is 3v3v3 player vs player map, tech warfare, (ex. tanks, marines etc.) Its going to be finished pretty soon, im taking a break from Barbarian Uprising atm.

Some stuff you'll see in it are.....

Tons of cool models/skins
Actual cover that works, when units are behind cover they are more difficult to shoot and gain bonuses.
Many many units
Ground Units: Marines, Field Medics, Fire Bats(name may change), Special Forces Snipers, Heavy Machine Gunners
Ground Vehicles: M1A2 Abram, Humvee, APC
Air Vehicles: Apache Gunship, Littlebird

Battles that will be won using your units specialtys, rather than non
mircomanagment

2 squads per player that you place your units into for easier managment
Heros that play a large part in military management.
Heros can cordinate the Following Commands
  • -Batalion Assualt(Orders all squads to assualt target)
    -Hold postion 1 or 2(effects squads 1 or 2)
-Passive Retreat 1 or 2(orders squads to retreat to point without fighting)
-Offensive Retreat 1 or 2(orders squads to retreat to point fighting on the way)
-Abolish Squads(completely removes all units from all squads)
-Covered Retreat(orders all units EXCEPT heavy machine gunners to retreat, HMGs stay and cover)
-Place Unit in Squad 1(places the targeted unit into squad 1)
-Place Unit in Squad 2(places the targeted unit into squad 2)

Terrain that can be used to your advantage in battle
Simple objective, destory enemy Command Centers
Resources that are delivered on intervals, resources can also be gained by killing enemys
Each unit has important abilitys relative to their class

I'll be adding more stuff, but i'm trying to keep it relativly simple.
Anyway here are a couple SS of some units.
Credits go to: KDEwolf, Yoda24 and killst4r

If anyone has any feedback, suggestions or ideas please post.

Sweet lookin pics, especially the heavy gunner, that one is sexy.

How will the commands be handled? Im hoping dialogue or skills, because having to type that stuff kind of a hassle.

Commands willl be a skill your hero has, you click a button on his matrix and select it from a sub menu.

I want to stay away from typed commands.

The heavy gunner looks like hes wearing some kind of alien suit... Dunno what time era this map takes place in... Also try to get a new custom skin for the sniper... The bigger darker marine looks a little tarded.

Other than that the map sounds intereting ill be playing it

Act, bad angle on the HMG SS, he looks fine in game, and this takes place around 2010-2020

The Sharpshooter, which is his new name, looks fine in game, and is easily distinguishable.
