What programs do I need (I have gmax and the DS editor already) and how do I port models from Dungeon Siege? (I have LOA if it matters) All I need is a way to convert DS model files to obj, if that's easier.

What format are dungeon seige models in, and are they packed into an archive or are they seperate in a folder?

I don't know what format they are in, and I'm pretty sure they're in an archive.

Well if the models are in an archive, like wc3 models are in a .mpq archive, your going to have to extract them before you can do anything with them, and by format, I mean what is the file extension on them.

Just look in the DS folder for a large archive. If you have anyway to check whats in the archive, do that. It'll probably specify filepaths and you'll be able to extract them. If you don't know how to open the archive, then you shouldn't have posted this, it would be a DS replated problem, not a Wc3 related problem.

Um... so you're posting in a Wc3 editing tools forum.. asking how to open a DS archive?
