This isn't exactly what you think, but I've come across a problem. I had an old loading screen, 4 .blp files and the loadingscreen .mdx. I imported them, and the files were huge, 600kb on some of the .blp files. I deleted them, got a new loading screen, same filenames, but only about 10% of the size of the old loading screen. I import the files, and the import manager shows the filesize of the original loading screen next to them. I thought it was just a visual error, so I saved the map, and to my amazement, the map size increased 1.8MB, just like the old loading screen. I renamed one of the .blp files, and re-imported. 64kb, just as it was supposed to be, so for some reason its like the map remembers the size of an old file with that same filename. Is there something wrong here? Why does it go with the filesizes of the old loading screen files? Here's a newb question. Could I just rename the loading screen .blp files, say from LoadingScreenTL to LoadTL.blp, and when I import it, set the filepath to LoadingScreenTL.blp, would that work? |

Its not an issue with .blp files or skins, this happens when I import anything that had been imported previously with a different file-size, so therefore I feel its a general importing question, and a topic for general developement :). Anyway, I found a way around it, but its still extremely odd. |

The import manager is slightly buggy. You might try deelting the files, saving the map, closing the map, opening the map, then importing the new files. |

Well, first of all, I think its easier doing it in targa format. All you need is LoadingScreen.mdx which you can get from the Monilith map in the import manager. Just export it. COnvert the blps. to targa and upload the 4 targa, and LoadingScreen.mdx and walla your done. I think you know the rest. |

Or just use RodOfNOD's method for loading screens, it's only 100kb and 1 .blp If you want to use this method, go to the Tutorial section, it's in there. |

Something that you should now: Always save the map after importing or deleting any file from the import manager, other wise really bad stuff like this happen. Your only chance now is to close the editor and open the map with a mpq editor, then delete what you need. then import again the new file (I reccomend Rod's file) |
