n00b In nEEd

Hey all! im a n00b to modeling so i dont know much (If anything really) and im looking for some low megabyte modeling programs.. especially those which can remove unit weapons etc.I know this can be done my chaning alpha channels, but my editing program has broken down... any good links?

the best program for new models and some geoset merge is 3dsmax! you can googel for the link! try to get a cheap studen licence and check out the 30 days trial


if you only want to make some doodads or cheap animations you can use milkshape too, Oinkerwinkle made a great tool for export

My program (which rlx.esp-samuro mentioned) is here. There are also tutorials there, one of which is for weapon removal. It's a lot less powerful than 3ds max, but (I think) it's easier to get the hang of and it's free.
