I started playing with WE a long time ago, and I have made a few maps, and I am playing with an AOS now, I have made a few nice parts in the map, but I am unsure as if they are too much for poor newbs with 56k modems. I was also looking for feedback.

i like it, it remids me a bit of pheoIV's forest tut. id sugest more rocks though, and especialy more around the waterfall. and some shrubs and things on the path its self (just a few, nothing to make it look like there is no path) and possable put pitch and roll on the trees so the trunks dont all look so straight and ordered

Different ground heights is your friend, and like Vagabond said, being able to see the edge of the map is a bad thing. These don't look too hard for 65k modems though, and look nice and detailed as they are. I give you an infernal thumb up.

Why should it matter if u can see the end of the map, he wants to know what you think of the terrain itself..

pitch and roll on destructibles? how would I do that. its just a picture of some terrain, and that isnt the end of the map, I just didnt hit ctrl mousedown.

Edit: I found it, and it runied my map's look so I set it back to 0 and 0.

How are these?

Wow those look great! Although, there is a burning house in the backround in one of them so that sorta makes it look bad... But very good.

looks good so far, but what is youre doodad count. ive made the mistake of useing too many shrubs and rocks in an AOS before, and i foudn that i quickly ran over my doodad limit of 8000

I am only at 4.6k at them moment. I have not done too much work with my AOS becuase of homework, and lack of ideas for it, lol.

looks good, also is there going to be a lot of units? also watch ur doddad count, if u make it too high, it will stack with units, in the number of polys in the map has and could cause lag.

I am good at making laggy maps :), Atm, its jsut Ghost's AOS, but that is cause I have no name for it, or a real direction. If you want to help me out with it, please go here:
