Im making a Phantasy Star Online Map, or a series of maps, and i was wondering what groups should have what skills. Ive come up with a weapon system that i made for a different game, and i already thought of what models i would use for the different groups. But im wondering what abilities you guys think should be the abilities of the groups. Heres what i came up with. Two or more abilities seperated by a - mean that it could be either. I will most likely use a abilty system ive been working on to let them have one of each ability set, so they would be able to learn all 3 or whatever, just not all at once.

I will add the non-hero critical strike to all of them and the non-hero bash to the ranger. Please know something about the game before you post.

And if anyone knows what .slk file it was that you can increase the maximum level is, then plz say something. Level 10 isnt good enuff for this to be a worthwhile game. And i dont think i will add both female and male parts to every group, since theres no females with guns and i dont really like the male spellcaster models. Well, thats more of a way to get out of some kind of legal suit, since femenists are attacking everything nowadays. But if someone does have a female model with a gun (not just a skin of a rifleman with a more femenine face) i would love to use it if you let me. And i would give you credit for your model.

I will probably end up editing the spells a bit near the end, but even if i do i would want to know what spells you all think would work for them. And if you dont think a certain ability i put up there would work, then say so. I just dont wanna hear ppl saying "your spell ideas are stupid. Your stupid. Peace." Thats not helpful and its flaming, so dont do it, k?

Either no one has played phantasy star online, or you all dont give a shit. Common, i was gonna try to make a map that you would all enjoy and no one even replies. I dont care if you played the game anymore, just think of some good skills that could be added in. Any help would be apreciated.

Man, I've never even heard of the game! My suggestion would be to make custom spells based on the game to each unit. I don't know what each unit is by their name alone, but give archers ranged and support abilities, Magi huge AoE and elemental spells, and warriors soloist abilities with as little magic as possible.

Personally, I think you should make 3 diff units for each set, instead of your ability thing, ala the actual game (HUmar, HUnewearl, HUcast, RAmar, RAcast, RAcaseal, FOmarl, FOnewm, FOnewearl).

ok, well, i assume the frost nova, chain lit, mana burn one would be HUnewearl. Although, I do suggest, if you do give mana burn, since its useless against some creeps, make it a bit more powerful (ala the old one, instead of the new 1.04 mb). Chain lightning would work better as a sort of 1 wave starfall perhaps with lightning bolts (more like razonde) but i suppose you could just use chain lit and call it gizonde. Frost nova will work I suppose.
The Thunder Clap, Warstomp, ??? one i suppose is a HUcast? or HUmar? I suggest making it HUCast, and changing names to Stun Trap/Slow Trap like the traps in ver.2. I was thinking that perhaps wards would do this better, although I don't know how you would make the thunder clap work in a ward. if you could do it, then use stasis ward and some other custom one. for his 3rd i suppose something mechanical-like would be nice? not really sure though. maybe just another one of his "traps" like a fire trap that makes fire dmg or something.
Vampiric aura one could be HUMar i suppose. That works, except change the name of aura, not sure what to though. also not sure what else to give him.

well the way it works is theres 3 races and 3 classes.

races:
human - moderate in everything
newman - better in spells than anyone else, weaker in combat.
android - best in combat, no spells at all.

classes:
hunter - close range attacker
ranger - gun-wielding person; weakest in spells.
force - magi

theres 1 of each in hunter:
HUmar - Hunter Human (male) - moderate in everything
HUnewearl - Hunter Newman (female) - Best in spells of hunter/ranger, but not as good as force. Better attack than force, but not as good as the others. Pretty much 2nd in everything.
HUcast - Hunter Android (looks like male) - Strongest attacker in game, no spells.

theres 2 android rangers and 1 human ranger:
RAmar - Ranger Human (male) - like hunter human except better with guns than close range, and weaker magic.
RAcast - Ranger Android (looks like male) - Strongest attack of rangers (guns stronger i gues), no spells.
RAcaseal - Ranger Android (looks like female) - Weaker attack than RAcast, but more accurate (i suppose could be reflected by just making her attack faster, rather than accuracy).

two newman forces and 1 human force.
FOmarl - Force Human (female) - Strongest attack of the forces, but weakest magic of the forces. still much stronger magic than any of the other classes however.
FOnewm - Force Newman (male) - Middle of the forces, weaker in attack than FOmarl, but stronger in magic.
FOnewearl - Force Newman (female) - Strongest magic user in game, most mana, weakest attack in game.

Ok, that gave me some ideas. I will probably use the different set of abilities for every unit, and if i have to ill use the archer since theres no female with a gun. Thanks for responding and giving me some feedback, and letting me know that there are ppl out there that will know what this game is.

korgoth made me a female riflewoman, which i suppose could be reskinned for racaseal if you want.
