shading

[shadow]I'm trying to find a good shading tutorial but i cant seem to find one. I want to learn how to freehand a bit but it all looks like crap without proper shading.

If someone wants to teach me that will be ok 2, but a good tut will also suffice. i use photoshop 7

i dont know. i was distracted by the shading on your text...

anyway, try either dodge and burn or lighten/darken. i use lighten darken a lot, but either one works fine...and remember to play with the settings a bit too...just to make it just right....
