How to add protals

I have a little problem with placing working portals on my map.
How can I decide which portals are connected together. Please can you help me.

You need to make a region for each portal and in the unit properties pick the region you want.

Yup, there's a field when you double-click the waygate. Also, there's a Neutral building's trigger that allows you to modify the field DURING a game.
