WEll i have made myself a good new first model. Now i have a simple question...How can i animate it? I am using GMAX. I need to make sure i know how to set its attack animation, movement animation, and stand animation. |

Make sure you have bones or it will be useless to animate.the first thing is to convert all the shapes into a editable mesh. just right click on the shape, select the bottom option (forgot what is called. Never really cared). As soon as have all shapes converted into editable meshes, click on Animate. Select the manipulate option, and move the shape use the manip. to move it. the click on the time bar to create 1 frame. Congrats, youve made 1 frame of animation lol. Also, click on the little clock butoon (next to animate) and change the framerate to 960 or more. Why? 960 frames is a few seconds in WC motion. Why? I dont know nor care. anyway, only do the last option last cause if you do it first, everything will move way too quick, making it difficult to animate anything. make sure the anim button is red. (i made that mistake one too many times).But setting different modes...im still working on that. So far ive only got one anim, and having a hell of a time trying to convert it to MDX. not sure if this helps |
