Ok, i got all the terrian and cliffset working, give me some feedback and tell me what u think of it! its for a map called DOOM, its going 2 b a firstperson map based on DOOM3! i think the terrian suits it pretty good! |

Looks pretty good actually, I was going to do a Doom 3 map coz I had the models and all, but decided I couldnt be fuked, just one thing, make more room then that its too tight and it also needs blue and green lights all over the place |

yea, i got the doom 3 models... but there dds format or something and i cant open them. I need some special stuff cause of its uv mesh layer or something, so instead were gonna use halflife models or just make them from scratch if we cant get the hl ones working eitehr. Anyway, about the terrian, should i change the sky 2 something so that when ur ingame u c something besides black, and if so what should it look like. I may add some green/blue glows somewhere, any1 else got any other suggestions? |

doom3 has shader 3.0 (if you have good card) so the tiles on the wall should all be different 8-) j/k looks pretty good. but u should put some blood or something on some cliff walls. doom3 is all blood and without that (on ground2) it isnt really doom3 |

yea, i was thinking about a ceiling... i was gonna just use the naga circle floating with custom texture... however that would b alot of doodads and there r some areas taht r big where bosses will b, so idk. But i WILL put blood on the floor and walls and all! good idea! but the reason i held back on the wall and floor textures is because i didnt want it 2 look 2 techey like doom3, cause doom3 gets boring being in that place the entire time, so i made it more like doom 1 and 2. I got those textures from half-life (through worldcraft), then resized them and all. I used 2 map for halflife and tfc so im familiar with all those tools. Does any1 know of a better way of creating a ceiling? btw, yes i would like 2 use those models, i cant find them on that site, did u post them yet or r they there and i just cant find them? |

Then you should make the walls higher^^ in places with bosses so the ceilings can PWN, and I think only his model of the Pinky is on that site ive seen his Hell Knight and Mancubus |

Ohh you have to talk to Andy bout it, he said he would give em to you just PM him or something, also its quite a few polys so I would say yeah its a bit of a large model but hey its a single player Doom map right? go crazy with it |
