Remember to rate maps.

This is just a friendly remider from your local moderator to remember to rate the maps that you download and play from the downloads section. Even better, make comments about them, either in the downloads section or in the downloads forum. In this way, mapmakers can see how their map stands up to the competition, and how much people enjoy playing it. If others give them constructive criticism, even better.

It also aids people trying to find good maps, as they will be able to use the 'highest rated maps' feature of the downloads section. Currently they can't do this because no map has been rated by at least 5 people.

Just make sure that if you are a map designer yourself to not make biased judgements on your competition. If you are going to rate a map that is similar to your own, don't give it a low rating just so people will play your map instead.
