3ds 5.x

i feel like a moron posting this question, but does anyone either know where i can dl the free trial for 3ds max 5.1? i have 4.2, and 6, but 4.2 doesnt have a lot of the tools that i need, and 6 doesnt support the art tools. i really just want to see how different it is.

4.2 is about the very same than 5.x. So you can sure use the 4 version. And dont try 6 if you havent got any earlier experience in max. btw You only can get 6 as trial, but I think I somewhere have a cd (legal :p) with the 5 trial on.

err, im not saying i have no experiance..... im just saying that i have been working for the last half year with 6 and 4.2 and i wanted to get the free trial of 5.x because ive heard such good things about it.

Okok, sorry. Anyways, max 5 is a different core than 6, be aware of that. You have to search throu the net for any older version than 6. Cant help ya there.
