Ok first off I have an infantry with a gun he wants to make a firing sound which who's code is SNDXMRIF accourding to the list. So I pick a Helper Point object from the list and named is SNDDMRIF then I added a notekey at the time I wanted tje sound to play. I did not write anything in the notekey. I also went in the user properties for the object and checked the helper event object thing at the bottom of the rollout. I exported into WAR III no sound!!! help me !

im not sure how to use helper objects and event objects but i did read the documentations and i think u have to make a note in notetrack at the frame u want the sound to play. u dont need to add any text in the note, maybe, im not sure. HOPE IT WORX!

even though the tools say to use a point helper, its never worked for me, so just make a box or something, name it the correct code and set it to helper in the user properties editor.

Quick question under the helper for the event generator did you make a note track or did you place the note in the regular note track under objects where you put the animation notes.

oh, i think they do need a separate note track for each helper with a pair of notes containing nothing.

This was sorted out over MSN a while ago. He was just using a quiet sound, but otherwise doing everything correctly.
