i need help with any tips that can be given about making a map symmetrical i have tried using the grid lines but it doesnt look right when i look in the mini map or test play it. |

i am mapping a TD annd it doesnt quite do well with making 1/4 then rotating |

hmmm... you can copy and paste terrain? I didnt know that... thanks wait wait wait, is it possible to copy and paste everything? (doodads and terriain) |

Yes it is, but not simultaneously. You cant copy terrain AND doodads in one go. And when pasting terrain, rotate your pasted area by clicking Edit -> Mirror Paste Vertically / Horizontally / 90 degrees CW, 90 degrees CCW. |

He, thanks to all of you. I can't believe that after about three years of using WE I hadn't figured that out. Now I know how they can make these TD or Melee maps so symetrical ! |

I almost always make my maps symettrical. Copy n' paste works , also try pinpointing the center when you first make the map, since it initially loads at the center. also for symettrical edges work from the center outward. |
