This is a small story i made to describe the feeling high priests who look over a group have. Read and ph34r: Fatherhood. Imagine a peaceful shrine. Dryads washing their hair with natures property. Life sure is great. I love to watch over them, help them develop their strength. The woods, the animals, the keepers. But, I still get the feeling they fear me. They fear my power, not that I would use it against them, off course not. People with power are always feared, I cannot help it. But well, life continues. Protecting life isn't a very easy task indeed. U are respected, off course, but it juts feels incomplete. Do all protectors have that? Did all heroes from history suffer from it? People respect you, but they still fear you. I just get too much respect, making it feel kind of fake. Maybe it is fake; maybe they worship me because they fear me. But why should they fear me? I always protected them. Always will. I gained the power by protecting them. But, it began with protecting “we. I feel above them. I am no longer protecting my brethren, I am protecting my children. Is this what fatherhood feels like? Or is this the way all saints feel? Maybe… -Vig0r |

That was a great summary of a high priest's feelings indeed! If you wrote psychologically, a lot more would be in that! |
