WARCRAFT III: HERO QUEST

I'm soon finished with the first of adventurers (Barbarian) and the first level of the dungeon. Both created to watch how things work out. When I get last of the characters (Dwarf, Elf and Wizard) created and balanced their skills I'll get into creating the dungeons.

As for the history of such (poor?) idea, is anyone familiar with the good old Hero Quest board game? Me and few my friends go way back with that game and played it when we were kids (Rune Quest, Rolemaster and MERP [etc] followed soon after) and after few recent LAN sessions over fantasy based games I decided to revive the good old feel of heroes slaying monsters in familiar dungeons and upgrade it into computer time. Don't really know if anyone else likes the idea, but anyway, I'll give it a brief introduction.

FEATURES:
  • Original four character classes including Barbarian, Dwarf, Elf and Wizard
  • Classical Hero Quest board map with treasures and monsters
  • Skill levels up to 20
  • Character levels up to 100
  • For the moment 12 floor maze to hunt down Witchlord and his minions
  • Many puzzles and riddles to solve during the course of adventure

More features and some screenies will be added as soon as I get new ideas or good screens cathed.

NOTE!
I am not intending to do anything new or revolutionary, but merely making fun adventure for few players and reviving (for me) the good old dungeon adventuring. But I am still doing all this with all my heart since Hero Quest was my first touch into fantasy over ten years ago and I do this with passion. And also, the use of only original models forces you to compromise and find another ways to solve things out.

Let the feedback flow, my friends! ^_^
