I need help:(. I found out all the skinning stuff and I made my skin! BUT i go to import manager and change the file path and the units skin didnt change. Do i save and re-open or something? |

All right "aznwhore", I just took the BLP of a Tauren Chieftain from Wc3 viewer and used the Edge Detection tool from IrfanView on the whole picture. So right now the chieftain looks like an ebony stone chieftain golem or some such. Like the image here :P! I added the skin to the Chieftain and it shows up in the viewer but not in the map editor. I guess i know what I'm doing up to adding the skin in viewer but im not familiar with importing files with import manager and changing paths! |

Um Is that the path I should be using? and am i importing the skin i edited or the old skin to change to the new skin path or what?!!? |

er... open WE, import manager, import your skin, double click it, change its path to what i stated in my last post, OK, close, save, open, test |

Imported HeroTaurenChieftain.blp, changed path to Textures\HeroTaurenChieftain.blp, closed import manager, placed Tauren chieftains, saved, tested. Doesnt show up!!! actually i just realized that only the portrait is skinned right! And he looks like a kick ass undead tauren chieftain!!!! Now i just need the unit to be skinned to :( P.S. What did you use to make that samus animation...? cause its pretty good........ |
