Guest | I got warcraft 3 beta (not offcially) can sombody please give me a deatiled desciption on how to play it single player (either campaign or 1-player mp map with bots) or maybe across a lan?? links to relevent patches would be appreciated if this has been disscussed before or there is a feature/article somewhere on the web could you please tell me the link |

Guest | First off, blizzard released the beta to test the multiplayer part of the game and thus, no singleplayer... There's a single-player crack however, made by YobGuls. This will enable "bot-playing". For patches and loaders, check www.war3pub.net and grab the crack from this site (www.wc3campaigns.com). When playing on LANs, you gotta have a server-application and since warforge ain't passin' their out, PvPGN is the only(?) server, or the alternative and older wargasm... Download PvPGN (Player VS Player Gaming Network :p) at www.trendecide.com. If you are going to pay with the server computer, the port used must be changed to avoid conflicts.. There's a .reg on the net somewhere, but it shouldn't be to hard with regedit.. :) That's pretty much it.. Have fun. |
