ok I have 2 models both variant of arthas and both have swords. what i want to do is to,
a)remove the sword
b) Make a system to attack anouther sword,(i have found it i got the file) and to change the colour of this sword without changing the model.

Is this possible? Thanks loads in advance.

For removing the sword, use the vertex modifer program and tutorials from here.

To attach swords, just use the special effect trigger. As far as coloring attached swords goes, you'll have to import different models for different colors.

Im just curious because nobody mentions it here... but does the skinning that goes along with the sword, when you remove a weapon, have to be changed too? (for example with a mdx it comes with 1-5 different skins, one of which is usually a weapon). Wouldn't be good if the sword skin wrapped right back onto the parts of the model that still exists and you suddenly have a weapon-skin for a face o_O

Also the file converter always says "unknown format!" when trying to open a mdx...
