How can I calculate a unit's damage reduction? Thanks!!!! |

For positive Armor, damage reduction =((armor)*0.06)/(1+0.06*(armor)) For negative Armor, it is damage increase = 2-0.94^(-armor) since you take more damage for negative armor scores. |

Remy, Would it be possible for you to gather the informations you know about the game's calculations ? That 'd be so usefull for trigger purpose... (What im looking for, for example, is what extra damage do weapons do to the right armor, or how is the movement speed value used, or what's the chance of missing an attack depending on terrain height, etc.) |

Here are some awnsers: - Attack type vs Armor type chart: Light Medium Heavy Fort Hero Unarmored Normal 100% 150% 100% 70% 100% 100% Pierce 200% 75% 100% 35% 50% 150% Siege 100% 50% 100% 150% 50% 150% Magic 125% 75% 200% 35% 50% 100% Chaos 100% 100% 100% 100% 100% 100% Spells 100% 100% 100% 100% 70% 100% Hero 100% 100% 100% 50% 100% 100% - Chance to miss when attacking high ground or moving units: 25% - Movement? I think it stands for the ammount of spaces a unit moves in 1second. Keep in mind that a tile is 128 spaces width so a 64 * 64 map has 8192 spaces in width. A flying machine would fly through the width of that map in about 20seconds, test it. ;) |

A quick and nice answer, thx again! ps: i tested the movement speed thing and you're absolutely right. pps : the links to your interesting threads are broken btw |
