Heroes and Hero Abilities

Panto
Here listed are the 16 heroes, four from each race. Shown for each is a screenshot of the hero, followed by an icon and description for each of his or her skills in as much depth as it warrants. If specific values are mentioned in an ability, I will try to keep them current with the most recent release of the map. In addition to the abilities listed, each hero has a stat bonus ability corresponding with its primary attribute.

Panto
Piper
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Agility
Nausea
The Piper nauseates his enemies within an area, causing disorientation.
Fog
Creates a fog which prevents ranged attacks, gives melee attacks a percent chance to miss, and slows units.
Thorns Aura
An aura that gives friendly nearby units a damage shield, which returns a percentage of a melee attacker's damage back to it.
Trance (Ultimate)
The Piper dominates the mind of a target enemy unit. Entrance cannot be used on Heroes.
Druid
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Cripple
Reduces movement speed and lowers attack rate and damage of a target enemy unit.
Siphon Mana
Absorbs the magic of a target enemy unit by taking its mana and giving it to the Druid.
Corrupt
The Druid's attacks gain the ability to lower the armor of units that he attacks.
Corpse Candle (Ultimate)
Malevolent spirits who lure unwary travelers to their deaths emerge from the woodlands to aid the Druid. They suck away the life force of nearby enemy units and return it to the Druid.
Mighty Oak
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Strength
Eerie Roar
Gives friendly nearby units a bonus to damage.
Flashfire
Releases a rippling wave of fire which deals damage to nearby enemies.
Pummeling Strike
Attacks have such force that they also damage nearby enemies.
Primordial Birth (Ultimate)
Splits into 2 powerful forest spirits. If either of the spirits survive, the hero is remade.
Wise Elm
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Shockwave
A wave of force that ripples out from the Wise Elm, causing damage to land units in a line.
Nature's Call
Transports friendly units from a target area to the Wise Elm.
Teleport
Instant short-distance spell that allows the Wise Elm to move through combat.
Vale of Silence (Ultimate)
Stops all enemy heroes in an area from casting spells. Can be used from anywhere on the map.

Queen
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Cunning Trap
Creates a poison, lightning, explosive, ice, or fire trap to hinder enemies, depending on level.
War Stomp
Slams the ground, stunning and damaging nearby enemy land units.
Onslaught Aura
Increases the move speed and life regeneration rate of nearby friendly units.
Relentless Pursuit (Ultimate)
The Queen becomes single-mindedly driven to destroy her enemies. Even death is only a minor delay.
Lord
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Strength
Bequeathal
Increases a target friendly unit's damage and life regeneration rate.
Retainers
Calls a variety of spiders to aid in battle.
Indomitable Aura
Gives additional armor to nearby friendly units.
Ascension (Ultimate)
The Lord grows substantially more powerful, gaining a permanent bonus to armor and attack damage.
Widow
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Agility
Fatal Sting
The Widow uses her deadliest sting to eliminate enemy units.
Precognition
The Widow can sense imminent danger. When an enemy attacks her, she can evade further damage by shifting to insubstantiality.
Slow Aura
Enemies near the Widow have their movement and attack speeds penalized.
Infectious Sting (Ultimate)
Stings a unit, causing large initial damage and then additional incurable poison damage.
Recluse
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Agility
Slow Toxin
The Recluse uses poison which does damage to an enemy unit each second and slows its attack and movement speeds.
Adrenaline
Increases the Recluse's attack speed, but causes it to take additional damage.
Poison Aura
Poison Aura releases noxious gas which deals damage every second to nearby enemy units.
Acid Rain (Ultimate)
Calls down waves of poisonous rain that damage units in a target area.

Flayer
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Agility
Keening
The Flayer emits a wailing screem, dealing damage and slowing the movement and attack speeds of nearby enemies.
Terror
Instills deep fear in an enemy unit, causing it to miss frequently.
Weird
Gives a chance to dodge attacks and to deal damage.
Demon Urge (Ultimate)
The Flayer transforms into a powerful Demon with a ranged attack and bonus hit points.
Revenant
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Strength
Deathbolt
Sends forth multiple prongs of entropic energy.
Surge
Unholy influences cause an increase in the attack and movement speed of nearby friendly units.
Unholy Armor
Creates an evil barrier surrouding target friendly unit, adding to its armor.
Bloodsoak Aura (Ultimate)
Nearby friendly melee units gain hit points when they hit enemy units.
Liche
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Unearth
Raises dead units in an area to fight for the Liche.
Soul Leech
Sacrifices a target friendly Undead for life and mana.
Frost Strike
Adds a cold effect to attacks that slows any enemy target's movement and attack speeds.
Death Guard (Ultimate)
Summons a giant Undead soldier to protect the Liche.
Witch
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Blanket of Darkness
Spreads a curse of thick darkness over enemy units within an area.
Afterlife
On the death of the target unit, a demon beast will arise at its corpse.
Brilliance Aura
Gives additional mana regeneration to nearby friendly units.
Sap Life (Ultimate)
Absorbs the life essence of an enemy unit by taking health and giving it to the caster

Sentinel
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Strength
Threshold
Unsealing inner strength, the hero gains damage, armor, and life for <AHav,HeroDur1> seconds.
Devour Magic
Consumes all magical buffs from enemy units and damages enemy summons in an area. Each buff gives hit points and mana.
Stunning Blow
Gives a chance that an attack will do bonus damage and stun the enemy.
Spell Shield (Ultimate)
The Sentinel's body learns to naturally repel magical attacks and effects.
Knight
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Strength
Challenge
The Knight issues a ferocious challenge to his enemies, weakening their resolve.
Sacred Armor
Creates an barrier of good surrouding target friendly unit, adding to its armor.
Speed Aura
Increases the movement speed and attack rate of nearby friendly units.
Heal (Ultimate)
Heals an ally.
Ranger
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Agility
Invisibility
The Ranger avoids being seen and moves faster. While invisible, she adds damage to her attacks.
Parasite
An insect infects an enemy unit, giving vision of its location and reducing its armor.
Critical Strike
Gives a chance to do more damage on an attack against non-hero units.
Pulse (Ultimate)
The Ranger releases a pulse of magical energy which damages enemies in an expanding circle around her.
Cleric
Quote:

Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Final Peace
Restores health to nearby allies over time.
Dispel
Removes all buffs from units in a target area and deals damage to summoned units. Also grants the Cleric 10% spell damage resistance per level.
Mana Shield
Creates a shield around the Cleric that uses mana to deflect damage.
Divine Fury (Ultimate)
Releases the burning energy of heaven's vengeance, damaging and stunning an enemy.
