What exactly is now the 'preferred' 'lagless' way to remove a unit: 1. Kill Only 2. Remove Only 3. Kill & Remove 4. Remove & Kill 5. Explode & Remove 6. Explode & Kill 7. Kill, Explode, & Kill I've been using Kill & Remove. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? |

8. move unit you want to kill to the corner of the map, then kill |

Digimon I think has it half right, move it to the corner then explode not kill the unit. Exploding leaves no corpse which means less lag as corpses are IDable. (they hold on to what unit they use to be for 88 seconds). |

Guest | Why not remove? What is the problem with remove? Curious. |

and also, why move it far away? Is it so there is no death animation lag? I'm also curious about why remove is bad. |

Remove basically does the same thing as Hide. Hide adds an extra step which allows the unit to be retreived but it still stores it in memory. Remove merely stores it into memory but doesn't add the unit that allows it to be retrieved. So remove is worse. I suggest moving it when you don't wanna see the unit explode. Unless you enjoy the blood explosion which i do. |

Remove only 'hides' the unit really (I think), so it still takes up some RAM. Move it to the corner of the map because 'explode' leaves such a mess :D |
