Guest | Well, I'm on a roll tonight and I have another question. I did some searching on the forums and I wasn't able to find any resources on this topic. Is it possible to make a unit transparent (ethereal) without actually giving it the ethereal ability. Some sort of alpha channel I've missed? Thanks. |

Guest | You want it ethereal without the ability? or just make it transparent? |

If you just want transparancy, it can be done easily with a simple trigger. Something about coloring, in which you alter the units' color by reds, greens blues, and alpha. If I was at home right now, I'd check for you what's it called. For now, just know it's possible. |

if you add addalpha to the material field in the mdl then it will become transperant. (Check the ghostly archmage to see what i mean) |

The trigger is: Animation - Vertex Coloring. You can set color and transparency there. Set red, green and blue to values 100% and transparency to what you want. |

Guest | LOL, sorry. Just to not making this reply this short, could anyone tell me why the "insert link", "insert image", "color", etc... options doesnt work for me? Any ideas? Salutions® |
