I HAVE THE SOLUTION To make a unit have a custom soundset, you must simply export an existing sountset, re-edit it, then import it back into the game (using the path of the origonal sounds). Lastly you must give a unit the soundset that contained the sounds you exported then imported. Walk Through: 1. Go to the sound editor, and export all the sounds of the sound set you want. Export- Units\Naga\WindSerpent\WingedSerpentReady1.wav 2. Re-edit them with a sound program. Just record over it with your own voice or somthing. 3. Import them under the Import manager with their old filepath. Import- Units\Naga\WindSerpent\WingedSerpentReady1.wav 4. Assign the edited soundset to a unit. Sound - Unit Sound Set WingedSerpent 5. The only problem is that you can't use the old sound set. I know for a fact that this works, it is done in a World War 3 map to give a rifleman the sound set of a ghost from Starcraft. |
