ok, i found this sweet model called the HE Highelf spellbreaker, then i found out that in fact it's no model but a skin... is there anyway that i can put the skin over my unit without mpq? meaning is there a way i can get the skin on the unit without placing the skin on everyunit i place (like if i make another spell breaker custom unit and i don't set the skin to the HE can i do it like that?) o_O

just use yobgols file converter(mdx-mdl) and change the texture it uses on word/note pad then convert it back.(close the file coverter the reopen it) Then import it and the skin and put the skin as the path you but in. i.e Textures\HighElf-SpellThief.blp instead of BloodElf-SpellThief.blp.

A bit depends on precisely what you're trying to do. If you have a custom model and want to use this skin on it, that's one set of solutions. If you want to use this skin *only* on one unit type while having other units use the other skin, that's another set of solutions. And if you want to simply replace the already existing skin with this one, leaving no trace of the original skin, that's a third set of solutions. If you say which of those you're trying to do, we can probably give a clearer answer.
