Heh your welcome for that tree idea devil. Anyway, my suggestion to you guy's is instead of asking for new doodads try something new. Stackingtree'sontop of eachother can get you cool effects (that how i got the worldtree base with custom top) See The Archon Cinematic for other great ideas.

this thread was meant for ppl who need to improve there terrain by submitting ss...guess they like to make new threads and clog the forums..

perhaps this will reduce the number of single shot threads, as well as offering good advice. im going to sticky this for now and see if it works out

Made this little island awhile ago, figured I'd post it on here for advice etc. Didn't spend about more than 2 days on it so its not perfect or anything.

If anything I should have been the creator of this thread considering my reputation in the art gallery.

1st Shot: Too many rays of light, not much you can do about that though unless you create small regions of rays of light. The water seems to be floating. You can see a selection circle. You can see the blackbackground on the right.

2nd: Again water is floating, The cliffs don't look like they fit, mostly because their Blizzard's crappy cliffs and because this is a tiny island in the middle of the ocean. Still too many rays of light

3rd: The bushes there don't look right, the one in the middle does but the two on the side just stick right out too much, too much contrast, pixelated and coming out of the sand. The background looks a bit weird, the waterfall or fountain of health or w/e it is. Again Blizzard's crappy cliffs bring it down.

4th: Shrubs a bit pixelated but not much of a shot compared to the others.

Most of the stuff up there you can't change like Blizzard's cliffs or pixelated textures but it's just a few suggestions.

if anything, these kinds of one man critic threads are bound to get overlooked. it's easier and better if you just make your own thread and get crits from a variety of ppl rather than from just one person. also, IF these threads ever get to the point where there's lots of ppl and and lots of images, there's gonna be images that are overlooked, and then people will think that they're being ignored.

so i think i'll unsticky this. if other ppl think its a good idea, they'll start posting in it more, and bring it back up, and then i'll consider stickying it again.

your intentions were good, but i still think that individual threads would help improve ppls terrain more.
