I have read thru the forums but I cant find any suitable help as it is too vague. I have created my custom units and would like to add custom sounds like attack sounds and voices in Max 4. Is there a tutorial and can any one help? |

dude just make a trigger sound attach sound to unit or import the sound and when it asks for unit sound in object editor use the one you want... |

Have you tried reading through the parts of the art tools documentation that explain that? They do a pretty good job of it. |

So you do it in World Edit, not in Max? I am adding my own sounds not the ones from the appendix... I am a 3d artist doing models for my younger bro and have no experience in WE. If you can help link me some tuts it would be great... |

use Event Objects, is the best thing you can do to add sounds to a model during a frame, but if you want to add custom sounds there are 3 things you can do. 1. is to set a original wc3 1 from the list in art tools. 2. is to create your own sound code in slk's from wc3 3. and haven't done get is to set to a attachment the path of your sound and them set it to an event object with parents. (complicated part) look in art tools documentations for event objects. also look at some naga buildings in mdl it may help you finish with the 3rd answer. any question about mdl, ask oinkerwinkle he should know about it. |

and yes ofcourse try visiting mdl section and look for the tut of whitehorn about fixing events, it may help you to. For now there is no tut man but i will make the best tut ever done about modelling including this problem (modelling in all aspects) |
