Blackmask

How do you create a fog of war over the entire map so its black and you can't see the minimap?

it really spoils the game if you can see the entire map...


i don't want a minor fog of war....

The reason nobody else is replying is because you need to explain your problem more clearer. And the title you're using "blackmask" really refer to the blackmask in fade filters.

If you mean to have the entire map covered up with darkness that you completely can't see the terrain not only on mini map but also on main playing area. The solution is in the main editing window -> Alt + S -> Map Options -> "Masked areas are partially visible" check box.
