Every form of protection can be broken. Right now I believe that ExtProtect or Heavylocker is the best form of protection, but it's not that hard to get into a map, so you're just gonna have to live with it. Tiki, I'm getting pretty fed up with your smart-ass comments, if you have a problem with Warcraft III or the site, go do something else instead of annoying those who want to work. // [35263526] Removed Tiki's abusive posts. There are rumblings surrounded you, cut it out. |

Guest | hey umm ive always wondered, why do you want to protect the maps? isnt it kinda flattering for people to make mods on yer map, it means yer liked....but w/e i dont know all the reasons cause im new :P |

People not only steal other peoples hardwork, but they also change it to be rigged and dont change the name. There are several reasons to protect a map. |

If by 'even has a program to deprotect it', you mean the password backup feature, that only lets you unprotect it if you know the password (it uses a good algorithm for the encryption so it would take a long time{as in more than 10 years even if computers doubled speed every year from now on} to hack it). If you mean there is an unprotector that works against ExtProtect, I'd appreciate you sharing it with me(via PM or somesuch) so I can improve ExtProtect. |
