concerning the art gallery

i recently sugested that only epople who had been posting in the terrain forum for a standard amount of time should be alowed to rate pics in the terrain section of the art gallery. i was jokeing at the time. but now i think it could be a good idea.

the amount of people who give quite frankly shit terrain high ratings.
some of you may have seen my comments about the LoW terrain. noob just give ti high rating as it has good custom models, but the terrain its self is desasterously bad.

id like to hear everyone elses opinions

(please note; whatever the outcome of this, chances are nothing will happen. as rodofnod said he didnt want the art gallery to be elitist. but its quite clear that elitism is the lesser of 2 evils when most poeple dont have a clue what their talking about)

i would have to agree on this one , lets say they decided to actually do this. how would they know who to let rate and who not to let rate?

Why not have the terrain forum moderators look through the terrain gallery and delete posts that don't support their reasons on scoring accordingly or at all.

firsty, communism is NOT the same as despotism. communism is the opposite of facism and captialism. while democracy is the opposite of despotism. communism is democratic. just in the most famous cases it has become a dictatorship

no, this is not a democracy. thew admin have never clamed wc3c to be democratic. and trying to make it so would be moronic. there happens to be a very good reason minors arnt alowed to vote

On that note, I think we should start electing who should be incharge of each forums. Ofcourse they would have to meet some standards. Then maybe we would have a more democratic system here.

i doubt it will happen. a lot of people wanted to vote for who Whitehorns replacement would be. im not that familiar with the art forums. but i servearly doubt rodofnod would have got it if it came down to a public vote

what big picture? nwas that supposed to bes some deep and meaningful staement about life (i sincearly hope not) or is it in referance to the forums. in which case id argue it is a significant part of the big picture
