problem with getting spell to work

first off let me say that even if I dont know how to use it well yet, youre caster system looks really great! [/buttering vex up]

now then, I was *completely* blown away by your Death Star ability.....but when I tried to replicate its art.......it wont make the pentagram. I mean, it does the damage, and it shows the towers of flame and whatnot, but it doesnt show the pentagram.

also, as this is my first trigger spell (I tried this system for my first cause I heard it was good for dummies like me ) I was wondering.....I mean, I can do abilities in the Unit Editor just fine, but how does an ability go, or link, to the trigger, then back? is that at all clear?

anyways hope ya can help me........I am gonna use ur glow pack too btw, very nifty! [/buttering up vex *again*]

The dummy.mdx model either wasn't imported to your map, or got unimported due to a World editor bug, and you'll have to reimport it

ok, I didnt have it imported. then I tested it and it still didnt draw the pentagram.....then I went back and made sure it was still imported and it was. any other ideas?

now that doesn't have any sense, unless you didn't change the rawcode of the caster correctly, or it got unimported because of the WE bug (it would still show as imported but it is not there, try reimported and save just after the moment you impor)

hmm.........I dunno :S

I reimported it, then saved and it still doesnt work. I also double checked the rawcode, but that is correct. I copied the triggers from your map, so there cant be an error there (although I wouldnt rule anything out now :( )

so Im stumped. of course, that doesnt take much with me ^_^

It could also be the condition of the death star trigger (should match the ability of your map) and the variables that trigger uses
