Help with placable summon

Hi,
I'm creating a hero with 2 or 3 PLACABLE summon skills with timers.

The only skill I have found using placable summons is the "Serpent Ward" skill from the Witchdoctor Hero.
However since you can't use multiple versions of the same skill, I wonder if any of you knows any way to get around this problem...

I am very familiar with the editor, however not with JASS. So if I have to do it with JASS (or something similar), you will need to explain it.

(The hero is not for the Hero contest, just for my map)

If there isn't any way to do this, then I guess I can use non-placable summon skills with timers (summon water elementals, phoenix, feral spirit, quillbeasts etc), but it wont be nearly as good, though..

I think Scuthy is right, just make take the 3 ward spells from the witchdoctor (or the ward spell from shadowhunter)

Can I use non-hero skills as Hero skills (with more than 1 level)?
Is there something special I must do to make that work?

I can't test it now, but I can try tomorrow.

(I also noticed that I typed the wrong hero name in the first post, I meant that I use the "Shadowhunters" Serpent Ward ability)

there is a field that says Hero Ability true/false. take an item ability and change it to true, then set the number of levels. you may have to click on another skill then back between/after steps to get the changes to display correctly.

ok, I'll do that! (But I'll have to postpone the testing to tomorrow)

What is the general limits when turning unit skills into Hero skills? I noticed that some skills stops working when you increase them above level 1 (The Spellbreakers "Feedback" for instance).

I have tested it now and the "healing ward" and "stasis trap" skills works fine as multilevel Hero skills!

However I still don't know why my Feedback skill (20 levels) didn't work, if you got a way to get it working, I will be happy to know!

Dark Portal isn't placable. It dosn't have a (working) timer either.


I also found out why my Feedback didn't work, the Hero that I tried it on also had "Cleaving Attack" and they are both "orb bonuses".
So stupid of me... Sorry for taking your time =(
