IM trying this again because my last thread was really screwed up. It had IMPORT HELP as a label and it was all screwd up so here it goes again. This is a wall for my campaign. On one side is the defence wallto keep out invaders and on the other is the beginings of the city. All i have done is this wall so be patient. The entire city will be about 80 x100 i think. I need suggestions because i know there is something missing. Also it is ment to be seen in the night most of the time. I spent about 1 hr. just trying to get the lighting right so it would look good at night. This one is of the defence side, Many towers, spikes, and walls. Here is the backside of it where this will become part of the city. Here is the front again at night. And another shot from an angle. Notice that i put units in almost all the buildings, burrows, and towers. Another shot of the back showing in more detail some of the units. Another back shot showing the other side of the back. More of an ariel veiw. This is shoing you the towers and stuff, i guess. This is my favorite structure. I made this using the support columns and a burrow with a watch tower mounted on top. This is a small canyon inbetween the defence wall and the inner city. A little crevice with some orcs inside. PLz, I want commments and suggestions. I will post more parts of the city soon. |

Guest | You find them at the models section. ANywayz. i kinda think there isnt much space to move around.. but making it larger might ruin the effect. Stick to it and just add more stuff. |

it seems a bit crowded to me... if you didnt put so many doodads in there, or just spaced em out more....it would look a lot better, IMO. -flames' |

I was actually trying to use these mountainous areas around the city as a backround type thing. It would only be used in the cinematic cutscenes and as something to fill in the extra holes. It was ment to be used like the mountains and stuff in the EXpansion Orc Campaign, not playable at all. |

Well; the area on the side of the defence barricade is going to be a desert and the side with the forge and beatery is going to be the city. This is just a small part of the city. |

Guest | WOW!! That is amazing.. But just how the hell do you put together a building like that!? I don't get it. I found one thing though, that I surely didn't like.. why was there torches on the outside of the first wall? Ok Orcs are stupid, but not that stupid ;) |

Well i am going to be adding to the area around the sity walls so I thought that there might be small orc guards or campas there, I wasn't sure yet. Ohh ya, sry guys, my gallery at photobucket s down so I can't display the pics right now. Ill repost it as soon as it goes back up. |

good work, but i cant say that this is amazing. Maybe you must pay attention to little features like trees, bushes etc. |

Ok, let's try. First of all, as i said, you must consentrate your vision on smaller objects, than big. In your map you have too much big obj, like buildings, towers and palings. I think you must put out some of them, or make your city a bit bigger. Than, you may break it up to parts like: central part, forge part, main plaza, enter gate part etc. Also you must decorate your city with not only trees, but with bushes, crates, barrels. I cant say to you were you must put them, it is your map and only you can modify it with your own wishes. PS: may be you should make bridges between the hills? |

Thanks for the help, Ive been hard at work for the last few days and ive almost done triple the amount of the last screens. Ive added a lot of new areas and things here are some more screens Here <?> and glitch this should explain tyhings better for you. Ive made an arieal ss of the arera where the city will be built.
