Locust Swarm going haywire

Hi.

I'm having a little trouble with locust swarm.

Sometimes, the locust units seem to go beserk and start circling a same spot round and round, instead of flying around and sucking lives from enemies like they should.

This seem to happen totally in random, and I have no clue as to what is causing this weird behaviour.

Of course, I modified the spell a little, but nothing I think can cause this behaviour.

Can anyone who has experience with this help me out?

what are you doing with L.Swarm? I mean customizing the artwork? or changing the effects? in other words what is different about it now than the original?

From what I see, you problem is caused invalid setting in target allowed,
Either it's on the spell or it's on the "locust unit"

But if it indeed is caused by invalid setting to targets allowed, then shouldn't the locusts not work at all?

As it is, they do their job most of the time. It's just that once in a while, out of total apparent randomness, they decide to stop doing whatever they are doing, and begin circling a spot over and over and over until the spell ends.

The target setting sounds like a long shot, but I'll try it though.

Invalid target allowed setting won't make the spell unable to be cast.

Locust swarm is like a summoning spell, the hero just summon the unit and left it there. If you have not set the target allowed correct, the "locust" just going to fly around trying to find a legal target but can't, so they end up flying around attacking nothing

Yes, I understand what you are saying.

That is why I am telling you that it happens in random, instead of all the time.

If invalid target is the reason, wouldn't the locusts behave like that every single time, instead of every now and then?

But I haven't got the time to try reseting the targets allowed. I'll try it later, and see if that solves the problem.
