Need people to test new program

TVxertices Is a program I am developing to help mdl people when editing tvertices, it is still in testing stages and at the moment it would only be able to open bmp for the images.

It is like this, you paste the Tvertices, load original texture, then new texture, and then click edit mode, in edit mode you can select new tvertices while seeing the original ones, then you disable edit mode, and are able to copy the new vertices back to the model http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Models&ID=1408 is an example of its usefulness.

I need people to test it for glitches and suggestions, till I manage to let it open tgas and blps.

get it at: http://vexorian.wc3campaigns.com/TVxertices.rar

I updated it, now you can change the size of the window, open tga, blp , jpg and Even mpqs to use an image inside them.

Still I need to know if it is useful, this is not an Unwrapping tool, it is a TVertices editor, made mainly to make geosets use another texture, while watching the first Tvertices.

Next version will be inside the big project I am making, along with 'other stuff' , this is mostly because Delphi programs don't need any runtime file, but god they take too much space.

I'll see if it can be useful, but I think there is already a program that does it better than it: look for Oinkerwinkle's Vertex modify tool. This program can do an incredible lot of things, and in the last versions you can see the UV of the loaded geoset or the selected vertices, load a jpg and modify the unwrapping. It can also do basic unwrapping. The only problem comes from points that correspond to several vertices with the same Tvertex, it's not possible to move one Tvertex and not the others.

ah, very useful indeed, thanks Vex. This cuts about 5 - 10 mins of unwrapping off my custom models, i found no bugs yet, but being able to open tgas and blps would be kickass.

I am working on that.

And I developed another tool in request of RodOfNod, this is able to rescale and offset models :

Zoom (requires log in)

Looks very good, add that distortion button and it will be done!

Thanks converting my filemaker program into something everyone can use!

the last tool isnt useful to me, cause i got 3DS, so it only cuts off about 30 seconds of work, but i'm sure others will find it useful when making uber sized doodads so they dont chop and change.

Same as for the other one, except for the option "scale particle emitters too" it can already be made with Oinkerwinkle's tools.

looks like another guy is trying to folow oinwinkle's path, but oinwinkle's tools are great already, u can even make mdoels from scratch without using 3dprograms like gmax,3dsmax,milkshape...ect

Why do you think I want to imitate oinkerwinkle? first program was made because I wanted to do something as simple as giving a tome model the spellbook's icon texture. And I wouldn't make the second thing if Rod didn't ask me to do it.

damnit, if you are fine with oinker's stuff then ignore my threads instead of trolling them

I don't think I hold exclusive rights to the idea of making model-modifying programs, MaD[Lion].

Anyway, nice programs. What is this 'distortion' feature that RodOfNOD mentioned?

Damn, I almost forgot, Don't expect too much the distortion thing is just a check box so you type 1.0 in the x scale and the other boxes change to 1 too.

Sorry for sounding rude or something last post, I was kinda mad because he said 'someone"
