Druid of the Flame-WIP

its not a bad skin (though i can't make out what it is yet..) but the design's horrible... i can't imagine a druid with those "flames" on him

bad so far: the purple in the face it way too saturated, the fire on the face...idk whats going on with that. the effect is cool, but put it comewhere else. give the purple anothe shot, and youve got a chance...

Look up CARTOON TATOOING somewhere. Actually making...diablo-like (very loose comparison) flames on a one tone purple fill is....starting to make me ill. Think about aethetics too. I imagine a consistant color scheme of what, umm, purple and flames? Whats 'cool' about that?
And i agree: It doesn't look like skin. Shading and desaturation time for the face.
Update when you rework the tatoo part.
(Using the PS 7.0 fire symbol with find edges, desaturation and tow layers, one with guassian blur and the top one on multiply would make it look cool i think)

EESH. I will give you some pointers. Professional looking skins dont usually have extremely bright colors. Tone down the purple, and maybe remove it (unless you want him to be Night Elf). Second, instead of making the flames look real, make them look more like tattoos. Like the flame designs people put on cars, those would look cool coming out of his glowing eyes, just dont overdo it like it is now. Your concept is good, you just need to work on the skin.

i'm just going to have to say that a druid of the flame is... well stupid.

druids are tied to lifeforms, animals mostly... not to the elements in specific. a flame druid is worth... well... a flame
