there is an editor in gmax thats attachd the skin but i cant remember the name. its a yellow red icon somewhere in the right corner. if you find it it says files on the left, select it and search for your skin. then drag and drop it on the model. |

select all the poligons you want to show the skin, type "M" key to open matrial editor type new, roll down and look for diffuse, type it and now select bitmp, now look for your skin and open it, now you will select the sphere with your skin and if like you where moving it, to the poligons. |
