I almost forgot about this. Oh well. Terrain a lone outpost atop a snowy mountain. |

Can't we just stick with a lone outpost, I have an image in my head, but its not in snow. |

Looks really cool, good atmosphere, add a light white fog, and either a light snowfall or moonlight. |

@Dinin: Looks neato, but the tables don't really fit in with the scene your trying to create, try a natural step path. You also could use some more doodads, even if its desolate you can use rock doodads to add to the effect more, just cause its desolate doesn't mean it has to look boring. @SpadeZ: Those rocks with that fog rock, get it rock :\ . But the walls you created out of the same doodad look kinda funky, you might wanna go with a different doodad for that. Also the rock archways don't fit in very nicely, I think it'd look better without them, but other than that, very cool. @Nephtis: Nice high town outpost thingy. The post itself could look better with more doodads and more variaty, not just barrels and tables. Also throughout the whole terrain, you got a little sloppy on the placement. You really should try working on placing the doodads better, like the outpost barrels are a little off, and all the trees on the cliff are floating, page them down. Only other thing is the snowy on one side, grass on the other. Either keep with the theme all the way through or gradually change between, it goes from snow strait to grass which looks odd, but good terrain overall. Now here's my outpost, I tryed being innovative, I've used stones like this before, but never to make a tower, it turned out pretty good, atleast I think. Sidenote: Sadly but no, I didn't path the top walkways, I felt it'd leave too little space inside to walk around and it'd look kinda weird with ladder jumping like that. PS @Nephtis: Your signature is great lol. |
